Valentina Iannace wins the Best Oral Communication Award in 1st IRQO Conference

From January 30th to January 31st, the 1st Meeting of Organic Chemistry (IRQO-SCQ) of the Catalan Society of Chemistry (SCQ) took place in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). Valentina Iannace, PhD student in our group under the supervision of Prof. Xavi Ribas, presented her work "Regioswitchable Bingel bis-functionalizatino of fullerene C70 via supramolecular masks" and was recognized with the Best Oral Communication award. Congratulations Valentina!

From our group, Dr. Marco Galeotti also delivered an oral communication on"Catalyst and medium control over product selectivity in C(sp3)-H oxidation of cyclopropane containing hydrocarbons"; and Nil Insa-Carreras presented his research in a flash communication entitled "Rhodium-catalyzed cycloaddition of C60 with enynes: Unveiling the mechanistic pathway".
