Prof. Xavi Ribas

Xavi Ribas graduated in Chemistry at the University of Girona in 1996, where ha also pursued his PhD studies under the supervision of Prof. Antoni Llobet (2001). The research work done during the PhD included two international research stays at Stanford Unviersity (Prof. Daniel Stack’s group, 2000) and in Basel (Prof. Andreas Zuberbüehler, 1998). After defending the PhD dissertation, he started his postdoctoral career in the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (Prof. Jaume Veciana and Prof. Concepció Rovira’s group, 2002-2004). He returned to Girona in 2005 with a Juan de la Cierva. Since 2006, he is one of the group leaders of QBIS-CAT Research Group in the University of Girona.
