New doctor in the group: Dr. Irene Prat

Irene Prat successfully passed her PhD defense and became Dr. Prat! On June 14th, Irene presented her thesis entitled "Bioinspired non-heme iron catalysts for challenging oxidative transformations: mechanistic studies and catalytic applications on selective alkane hydroxylation and alkene cis-dihydroxilation", supervised by Dr. Miquel Costas and Dr. Xavi Ribas. The PhD jury was formed by Prof. Mike Watkinson (Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom), Prof. Elena Fernández (University Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona) and Dr. Wesley Browne (University of Groningen, The Netherlands).
