From February 5th to February 10th, the European-Winter School on Physicial Organic Chemsitry: From Biological to Bio-Inspired Artificla Systems (E-WISPOC) took place in Bressanone (Italy). Najoua Choukairi, PhD student in our group under the supervision of Dr. Miquel Costas, presented a poster showing her researched on iron-catalyzed syn-dihydroxylation and was selected to deliver a flash presentation, which was recognized with the Best Flash Talk award. Congratulations Najoua!

From our group, Arnau Call, Andrea Palone (whose poster was also selected for a flash presentation) and Miquel Costas (who delivered a lecture on "Site- and enantioselective oxidation of strong C-H bonds with bioinspired catalysts") also participated in the conference.
