Miquel Costas receives Medalla Rafael Uson award

Prof. Miquel Costas receives the Medalla Rafael Usón award from the Specialized Group of Organometallic Chemistry (GEQO) of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) for his "outstanding scientific trajectory and contributions to the field of organometallic chemistry, in particular the study of oxygenase models, the development of selective methods for the activation of C-H bonds, the oxidation of water and the design of metallic supramolecular systems". The Medalla Rafael Usón Award is the highest distinction of the GEQO and is granted annually to distinguish excellent scientific trajectories. As winner, Miquel will deliver a plenary lecture in the XLI GEQO Meeting in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, 20th October). Congratulations Miquel!
Prof. Julio Lloret-Fillol, former member of the group and currently in Insitut Català d'Investigació Química (ICIQ) has also been recognized with the GEQO Research Excellence Award.
