Michela Milan receives the Research Lilly Award for PhD Students

Michela Milan, PhD student in our group under the supervision of Dr. Miquel Costas and Dr. Massimo Bietti (University of Rome "Tor Vergata", Italy), Research Lilly Award given by the international pharmaceutical company Lilly and the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ). These awards recognize the research excellence of PhD student in organic, analytical and pharmaceutical chemistry and they intend to strengthen the interaction between industry and academia. Michela was one of the winners of this edition, together with Beatriz Fresco (University of Córdoba) and Victor Sebastián (Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas Margarita Salas).


As one of the winners, Michela will receive an economic prize of 1500€ and will be presenting an invited lecture in a the XXVI Biennial Meeting of the Organic Chemistry Group (GEQOR) of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry in Santiago de Compostela (June 20th-22nd). Congratulations Michela!
